Hobbies/Passions: When she’s not chasing tornadoes or jetting to Jupiter (in her books, of course!) Lori enjoys visiting “less traveled” places and experiencing far-off cultures. She recently began a non-profit organization (Connect the Kids: www.CTKworld.org) that connects teachers/students in the U.S. and U.K. to schools in rural Kenya through pen pal partnerships and teacher/student cross cultural exchanges. While in California, she camps and hikes in her beloved Sierra Nevada Mountains. At home in Orange, California, she loves to run every morning with her three dogs and hang out and eat Greek food with her husband, son and daughter Opa!
